I think that the visuals that I decided to share about the design and production of the original container designed for the Troia exhibition held in 2018 may be useful for young students and designers. The main issue that is tried to be emphasized here is how a local value can be used as a source of inspiration in design. In addition, an attempt was made to emphasize the transformation of a metal sauce container into a boat appearance that can be used for the same purpose, without completely moving away from the appearance of the original container.

The form, on which a stoneware lining is applied on the hardened tile, was hand-shaped using the plate method and fired at 1240 degrees C and is unglazed. The textures on the surface of the form were tried to be highlighted with the application of light color primer. The parallel lines on the surface show similarities with the formation of the vessel form from wooden pieces. It is parallel to the concept of "Naked Clay", which is frequently used in the contemporary sense. The body and handles of the form are compatible with the original form. There is no story in this work. There was no attempt to explain anything. Only an attempt was made to create a new form, and in doing so, it was inspired by the golden Troian sauce bowl. The resulting new form is a functional container with a sort of vessel appearance.
